XXX Racing is sponsoring the Lincoln Park Criterium this Sunday. The race will take place on the loop in front of the Dog Beach between Wilson and Lawrence, and will run from 8 am until 5 pm. The Dog Beach will be open during the event, but there will be no parking by the beach or along the race path.

This race will be a little different than what we're used too. It is a speed and endurance race, and will last all day. It's vital for the safety of the dogs and riders that all dogs be kept on leash in the race area

Join the Chicago Park District and the American Cancer Society at "Dog Day on the Green". This is a dog friendly event featuring "Bark for Life", a  noncompetitive walk event for dogs and their owners to raise funds and awareness for the American Cancer Society's fight against cancer.
The event is on August 29th from 10am until 4pm at Montrose and Simonds Dr. south of Montrose Dog Beach.
